Could Lydia Be Safe After All?

I must say that I love the Real Player "wayback machine". After reading a couple of twitter reports regarding a late-night conversation between Lydia, Jesse, and Natalie, I went back to take a look for myself.

The conversation occurred around 2:30 or so Big Brother time, and Lydia's obvious goal was to get them to convince Russell to save her with the veto. It started with King Jesse's usual method of "explaining" the situation to her like she's five years old, and then it got heated when Lydia and Natalie discussed their animosity towards each other. For possibly the first time in BB history, though, an argument between rivals ended up with an understanding.

Lydia still has some hurdles, though. After she left, the King and his Princess discussed the ramifications of saving her. They would love to put up Jeff, but they can't because he's on their team, so the next idea is to backdoor Braden. Somehow he's a "sheisty mastermind who doesn't care about anyone and just wants to stir up drama". I don't know how this is the case, as I haven't seen him say more than five sentences the past two days.

Russell was then brought up, and the trio somehow believe that giving Braden the boot would give them control of the entire house. Oh boy, the alliance of eight from Jesse's year will now be twelve. (You just can't make up their idiotic delusions.) Russell is still not sure about saving Lydia, as he thinks she's smarter than she lets on. (Maybe, I'm not real sure about that yet.)
