Chima's HOH Blog

Generally, the HOH blog is relatively worthless, but Chima's is pretty well-written and informative.

August 12, 2009

So I just came up to my HOH room and there's a black widow spider placed precariously by my door. I say "placed" because it's hard to believe that anything that happens in this house is purely coincidental. Do I believe that someone is always out to get me? In everyday life...no. In the BB house...sometimes. Most recently it's been Russell. He may view me as a black widow and rightfully so as I plan on ending his life in this game. I'm currently on the war path and he's my target. My father Mark is a retired Marine and I've learned well how to take down an enemy.

It wasn't always this way...Russell and I were friends once...at least I thought so. But his actions have shown otherwise. He derides & devalues everyone is this game endlessly. A conversation with him consists mainly of him speaking ill of the other housemates. Right now he's downstairs disparaging my character, my accomplishments, my hair, my family, etc....the list goes on. His former false apologies went unheard. His farce as a good guy ended as abruptly as it started. His lies never stopped. Befriend, Backstab, Bully....his M.O.(always interchangeable depending on the victim). But I'm no victim. I'm a survivor and always have been. He tried to play the wrong person...hence he's on the block.

Russell tries really hard to be a villain, but anyone aware of good vs. evil in any plot line knows that the bad guy must have some redeeming qualities in order for the audience to care. Enough about him, he's going home & I am now focused on the next half of this game and surviving the new twists & turns. I've only made it this far with the help of my alliance...Natalie, Jessie, & formerly Ronnie. We have dominated the power structure in this house and I'm grateful for having them on my side. As much as many people in the house hated Ronnie, he was loyal to me. I wouldn't be here now if it wasn't for his vote week 1. Hope you're well Ronnie! The biggest BB fan there ever was. I miss your encyclopedic knowledge of this game. Kisses!

Natalie is my sister in this house. We bonded almost immediately and it was because of her that I even got close to Jessie. It is important to have people you trust in this game because so many people are lying to your face on a constant basis. I have that with Natalie & Jessie. When they're awake long enough to speak with me I know that they're speaking the truth. Sleeping too much in the BB house will lead to your downfall. VERY important, game changing events can happen while you're asleep so one of my strategies while in this house is staying awake & trying to keep my alliance awake as well. That, in itself, is time consuming.

Overall, I'm enjoying this experience. I've grown to like people I would never encounter nor engage in the outside world. You find that people, all people, are more alike than they are different. Everyone in this house has a story... no one story better than the other, just different. We have connected over common interest, commiserated over shared experience, and collaborated as it relates to this game. And no matter what, this is a game. I remind myself daily that although I can't speak with my family & friends they await me on the other side. While I'm in here playing a game, the real world is having it's way with them, good & bad. That's just life and as bad as it can get in here with tempers flaring and that damn Have Not room I know....it's just a game & quite honestly an escape from the real hurdles LIFE can throw your way. I'd rather be a Have Not in the BB house than a Have Not in the real world. Agreed? ;)

I can't leave without giving a big hug & kiss to my mother, Lisa who's getting better each day & just had a birthday, August 11th. Love you MOM! Thanks for the letter. BTW...it may not have aired, but BB gave me a nice birthday party and Grandma sent her love in a birthday card. I love you ladies sooooo much! As I write this, a picture of Great Grandma is to the right of me...she started it all. You strong women have made me who I am today...I'm eternally grateful.

Thank you all for watching! Season 11 rocks!!!

xoxo

The first female HOH, Chima...
Let's keep this trend going. A lady winning this summer is a must!

Chima...I fast forward thru all the scenes with you, Natalie and Jessie in them. BBAD goes by real fast when I don't have to look at you three ugly turds.

Couldn't agree more Reefer..I will be so disappointed if a woman wins this..and I'm a woman..I'm struggling to feel that any of them TRULY deserve it..although I do LIKE Jordan..I'm not sure how much of a game she's playing.

You can tell she writes a lot though - assuming BB doesn't touch it up that blog entry is done well. No terrorist mention though! ;)

It doesnt matter how well she writes or how intelligent she is, if the person is not on your side, you will treat her like crap and if the person is on your side of the fence and dumb as rocks, you will talk about her like shes god..

I'll bet you Chima could have answered this question

Jordan: Which language do asian people speak????? duh

Jeff: whats a quarter to 8

Jordan: 25 cents

PRICELESS AND DUMB ALL IN ONE

Well, she IS a writer so I'm not surprised. It's always awkward when an HoH spends so much of their alloted space talking about their enemy in the house. I mean, really? It doesn't give you any leverage. Ugh.

I guess to some people, they would say, how can people watch a person thru a computer talk about their enemy the whole time. Its possible that the person who ask that question may respond by saying "someone needs to get a life and stop putting all there time into people thats playing a game instead of saying UGH.

After all, the people playing a game are playing for 500.000 and prizes when the people that are are watching it thru their computer is doing for absolutely nothing.. Go figure

LMFAO@ thinking you're above it. Guess what? You're watching it through your computer as well, while making no profit. Guess we're all standing in line waiting for a LIFE.

I am changing the subject here again.. But am I hearing right on the feeds and on other sites that the show tonight will be pre recorded not live??? Are they seriously that scared of Chima and does this mean that Jeff has told production that he is going to use it for sure???

I want it live I want to see Jessie and his gangs face whenever they get kicked outta there.. I don't wanna watch the edited version..

Anyone know????

Never mind!!! It would help if I would read the earlier post!!! Sorry all..

It is bullshit that we all have to suffer because some houseguest on a power trip thinks that they are above and beyond..

I am sure that CBS is walking on eggshells about the Chima situation. What that situation is.....is BLACK. When blacks play the race card, it is a lose/lose situation for all involved. Matter of fact, it is an issue that people can't even talk about without shit hitting fans.

I know this, for sure....the network cannot allow a mentally fragile black chick to go racially wild on live TV. Better to tape it and get the best footage out of it that you can show without lawsuits.

Garv said...

Boy are you right RJ! Unfortunately CBS can't take any chances with someone who throws around the race card as much as she does.

She has to stick around even if Jeff uses the Coup D'Etat, right? He can't put her up, can he?

Jeff's best move is to bounce either Jessie or Natalie this week. That would shake it up, for sure.

Good point, Reefer...

My goodness, I thought these people were screened a bit better. Didn't they learn anything from the "ex" season? I'm no psychologist but even I could see by the 2nd week they had a risk building with her. They had to know her history, and the pressure cooker the house is.

But I think you're right, if she blows, much as it would make watchable TV, CBS could have a PR and medical crisis unfolding in real-time. And if they ended taping at the point they need to step in, they could give the HGs a few hours to recover and start the HOH without an audience on hand and do that part live.

Well, CBS wanted "edgy"...

Please refrain from the racial comments. Anybody in that house is not exempt from losing it if there enemy held the mystery power.

Reefer Jello said...

Scott enforces my point about the issue being a subject that people can't even talk about. Scott doesn't even want it talked about on this little web site and I can dig it. When people are afraid of words and when words become an enemy, a society is truly finished.

Reefer Jello said...

One more thing Scott.....your reluctance to even broach this subject on this page is the EXACT reason why CBS will tape tonight's show.

Scott said...

My request to cool it is mainly so we don't have a return to last season where one troll did nothing but call us racists multiple times a day for most of the season.

Cal said...

Point taken, Scott.

Just her "terrorist" comments, and other comments and actions by her indicate she's a risk even if she was named Becky Sue Smith from Iowa.

Still hope BB does a better psychological screening in the future, at least as good as they seem to be doing in screening out common sense (still can't believe how some of these folk are getting suckered by Jesse and Nat).

Russell made a good point when he shouted at Chima that she had been exposed as the true racist in the house when she referred to him as a terrorist. She went off on Braden pretty damn good with the race crap then she turned around and called a Lebanese cat a terrorist on TV.

I am a guy that believes that it isn't only white people that are racists. I know that flies in the face of people these days but I believe that everybody practices discrimination. You discriminate when you choose where you live and what you eat etc. Some people take it to ludicrous levels...but everybody discriminates and they do it every day as a matter of normal living.

Reefer Jello said...

After reading all this stuff, I just also want to say that I feel genuine compassion for Chima. What happened to her as a young girl, out there getting her education, is a travesty. She was still in that period of innocence, trying to become a smarter and better person, when her life was ruined by a murderous thug. What a disaster.

ale said...

I do agree though that Chima has thrown the race issue around quite a bit, depending on when it has benefitted her case. I see no issue with calling her out on it, and she certainly be called on it when she's out of here. It's just depressing that the producers are positively enforcing her actions by altering a schedule they have had for YEARS due to her threats. While she may be educated, well spoken even- she is beyond ignorant and less mature than she pretends to be.

That's why it irks me when people say, 'don't judge her- she's just a strong woman speaking her mind.' Give me a break, really.

Philly Bob said...

True, what happened to her would leave anyone bitter, and I think a lot of her attitude comes from the will to succeed over it and I give her kudos for her efforts. But she's throwing stones at glass houses here.
If I were in the house and made HALF the comments she's made. I be in jail for hate crimes. You can bet your ass on that.

FYI!!!
CBS just put up on there website that the live feeds are down until 6pm PST/ 9PM EST

Going to be a long afternoon...

Sorry for starting the topic all over again.. But I do agree with Ale on this one.. Anyone else makes those same comments and there is hell to pay....

Chima stated that Jeff (probably) won Coup D'Etat because women voted for him & they're "bitches" who won't support other women. What she'll never comprehend is that America's choice for CD'E had nothing to do with gender. SHE was never in the running because SHE is an obnoxious, egotistical, sexist!

As Garv said, the Jessie/Natalie Twins must be severed. Jessie may be more likeable & mature than last year, but logically, as the strong player, he should go. Natalie has won nothing & is all talk. Can't wait for Jeff to pull the rug from under these folks!

AName said...

Naw dont stop it Scott, I just love to see people true colors come to the forfront. At least using this will give you more reason to show your underlining racial behavior..

I gaurantee you Scott if you let this conversation go on you will hear a lot more racial slurs from your dear close friends than Chima could ever come up with.

But you already know this so stopping it keeps everything hidden again and we can continue to act like it doesnt exist

AName said...

Give me a break really. LMFAO at U and you know who you are
