If you like the idea of playing puppet master while watching a highly motivated reality-TV contestant follow your every command, we've got some good news.
On tonight's episode of Big Brother 10, viewers will be given the chance to turn one of the house guests into the new America's Player, who must do our bidding in order to win up to $20,000 over one week. And of course, no one else in the house can catch on, or else the gig is up.
The popular twist was introduced two seasons ago with Eric, who won $40,000 over the course of the season and caused upheaval in the house with his unexpected votes and odd behavior. — Nina Hämmerling Smith
Who wants to make like Orwell and play Big Brother? Who do you think should be America's Player?
I hate this idea!!!

how can america pick a player tonight to be americas player for a week when we don't know who is being evicted..unless nominees aren't eligible choices or unless there is no eviction this week....hmmmmm I will only like this stupidity if it means Angie doesn't go home!!! (although I don't want her to be AP as she has a big enough target on her back already, for no reason)
Why is Jessie being so calm today?? he needs to make a kerfuffle and get everyone pissed at him again.....
The only way this is going to be even remotely interesting is if Libra gets picked, and everyone makes her do the exact opposite of what she should do.
I thought the zany twists were dead. If we find out that everyone in the house is cousins, I'm out.
A lot of people who watch big brother all the time may not like this, but its good promotion.. because people like to be involved in things. I don't have any personal interest, but it always makes the actual shows (on CBS) more interesting. Some of us who watch the live feeds may not like it, but I actually think it adds some fun to the game..
Plus, I fully expect Jerry to be the pick and I rather doubt he'll be around much longer.. so America's Player should make it a little more interesting for a couple weeks.. and we all know who Jerry will be asked to torture.. America's least favorite, Libra.
First of all, this doesn't make sense. Eric from S8 went in there having signed a contract, and having been prepared to do it from Day 1. It's unfair to the players evicted when this so-called vote goes down. Secondly, you can't FORCE a player to do America's bidding all of a sudden. This person can simply ignore America's choices and not bother to win the money, if they're against the AP idea.
I don't think it adds ANY fun to the game, if anything it taints it. I did not like it in S8, and dislike it even more so now, especially with the game having already begun. This is crap, and I seeeriously hope that it's just a horrible hoax. I was counting on there being a secret room, or an extra HG, but not this shit. Ugh.
Anyway. My vote would go to Dan- awkward, smooth talker, it could keep him around longer.
WAIT! Or, we get to vote one of the evicted HGs back in as AP. I'd throw all my beliefs out the window and gladly back that idea. Steven, ftw!
Oh Ale, I love that idea of bringing back one of the evicted house guests as America's player, that would be awesome! I doubt that will be the case but that would be cool!!
I think Ollie would be a good choice. He's one of the jerryiactircs which will give him pull with the majority of the house plus he's one of the original 3. Not to mention it would make him start playing the game!
You know what's pissing me off? I can't vote for Steven in the Fave HG poll on CBS. It's like his name isn't even there, because it tells me "Please select a HG" even after I've clearly selected him. It's because he's gay, isn't it?
I've got to go vote in that. I would soooooooo love to have that be a question in a future HOH, and have Keesha just devastated that Angie was the pick.
My vote goes to Dan.. but not crazy about this idea at all
Ale... you are the dumbest poster on these boards..go away dude and get a life. youre sad
